What is Epidemiology? Epidemiology is the study of the distribution of diseases, its determinants and the application of this knowledge in the control of diseases. There are mainly two types of Epidemiological Studies. They are 1. Observational 2. Interventional Observational may be divided into descriptive and analytical. The interventional studies are mainly made of three parts- they should include a Manipulation, Randomization and Control.
