- OpenMRS - medical record system based on the "concept dictionary" approach. Open source package written in Java but currently relies on Microsoft InfoPath for creating and filling out forms.
- OpenEHR is a set of specifications for inter-operable health records. Commercial and open source applications are being built based on these specifications.
