  • OpenMRS - medical record system based on the "concept dictionary" approach. Open source package written in Java but currently relies on Microsoft InfoPath for creating and filling out forms.
  • OpenEHR is a set of specifications for inter-operable health records. Commercial and open source applications are being built based on these specifications.
  • ZEPRS - Zambian Electronic Perinatal Record System. Open source software written in Java and available in web and stand-alone versions. See the RTI news and demonstration site for more information and access to the documentation and latest versions.
